A girl in a very practical dress steps up to the board and pins a folded note. The outside of the note bears only the name Agarlin in crisp, precise lettering.
Inside, the note is in the same lettering.
Agarlin,
I am afraid I shall be very busy for a few days, and unable to return to the tavern for that time. I apologize for the inconvenience, as you sent word you wished to communicate in person.
An' it please, you may come to the Twelfth Cat and see me there. You can reach it through the portal to which you escorted me the other night.
If this does not please, I shall see you when I am able to return to the Cross Roads Tavern.
If you change you mind, and wish to communicate through missives, I can entreat someone to fetch your notes, though I also would prefer to discourse in person.
The note is signed Aaralyn, in the same, crisp lettering as the rest of it.
