The mahrog race may be marching into your game, dragging clubs, flinging spears, and just generally being brutish. Mothered by an overprotective nature goddess, the mahrogs shun modern conveniences like metal armor and fancy swords in favor of wood, bone, and stone. Best of all, it works well for them due to some divine intervention on the part of their goddess protector. So if you ever pined for simpler times, it doesn't get any more primitive than this! Of course, the mahrogs follow the same great format as the other races with colorful original art, complete rules and extras, and are ready to play immediately. Savage prestige class, prehistoric mount, new domain, and new deity also included.

Hey, thanks a lot dude !

I finally have something to complement the Neanderthals.

One question though: Is it me, or the "Caveman" paragon path became the "Savage" prestige class ?

Yes, we reverted back to the original name of the caveman paragon path (savage), which we originally changed because we were going to release a "Savage" character class for 4th edition. Later, the Savage class project was scrapped, and the name became available again.

So yes, the Savage prestige class was certainly inspired by the Caveman paragon path.
