why not expend feats on extend and persistent spell.....like get divine favor to last 24h fer a 5th level slot...and later you will get divine power and make that one persistent......you will have fighter BAB and 18 in str all fer a 8th level slot and best of it it lasts 24h :p, (when your 6ish levels higher)
i'm playing a cleric now and he really kicks arse :p all because of that persistant thingy :p, look at the other goodies you can make persistant like sheild of faith (boots to AC) at higher levels he'll kick even more arse :p

but you need to expend you feats wisely.....point blank, precise shot, extend spell, persistant spell, martial weapon prof: comp. longbow

remeber extend allows you to make bull strenght last fer 18h...you're a little vulnarable to dispel magic tho.....(that's why you buy a ring of counterspelling and give it a dispel magic) anyways a ring of counterspelling is a wise investment...:p

"Elf Cleric 9

The big thing is that you can cast Greater Magic Weapon on both the weapon and the arrows. Take Quicken Spell as a feat, and Quicken Divine Favor,"

PH, p. 84. "A quickened spell uses up a slot 4 levels higher than the spell's actual slot."

A divine MW would be 8th level slot and we are talking a cleric who just can cast 5th.

Huh? Divine Favor is a first level spell. Quicken that, and it's a 5th level spell. And what is that "divine MW"?

Divine Power is a fourth level spell, but you don't want to cast that spell without quicken (which you cant do until 15th level) unless it gives you an extra attack. If it gives you an extra attack (like on level 11) cast that on the surprise round, and you'll get the one attack you lost back on your next round.

What's strange in all this is that Divine Favor (1st level) is oftentimes a lot better spell than Divine Power (4th level).

P.S. Before quoting the rulebook for someone think about what you're trying to say.
