Yes!

I started typing about those and then decided not to include it in the post, but I agree completely. It's bizarre that DC keeps putting out these dreadful animated movies. The Killing Joke was particularly staggering bad, essentially illustrating that whoever had creative control profoundly didn't understand The Killing Joke on even a very basic and normal level. Just mindblowing.
You're right, didn't they add like a whole half hour of extra stuff and make Batgirl like pine for Batman or whatever? I totally forgot about that part!

I will certainly see it -- mainly to give JMS a boost with the reboot. I do feel like the great strength of B5 was its long-form storytelling, though. The movies couldn't capture what made it great.

New A.I. shows that they can add voices of other people, so I'm guessing they could take the dead character's voices and make them in the show again.

I'm not excited at all. I'm not a fan of the modern animation that has to be made cheap lloking and must be made for kids.

No one can make any animation where they characters are not super thin/unrealistic body types, look like they are teenagers and act like little kids. Everyone has to be a super ninja. And everything must be safe.

And animation that looks like a scribble made by little kids. And somehow they spent millions on that, dozens of people saw this utter mess of a scribble, and thought it was the best animation ever?

Guess it's done and will be a thing.....guess the people that like animation will watch it. Hope we still get stuff with real people.

While I loved Babylon 5, I have some ambivalence about any new series or movies. Outside of the main series, I thought the television movies weren't very good. It's been years, but I only thought one of them was decent and I didn't care enough to watch the spinoff series. In a lot of ways, I feel like the Babylon 5 story is complete and I don't know if I really need more.
While I hear what you're saying, I would just say that, if you've ever played a Bab5 RPG, you'd recognize that there are many other stories in that setting that could be told. I actually hated the Crusade series, but as it turns out, my group played a B5 campaign that was very similar to that setup, and there is a lot of good sci-fi material that can be created and stories told for it.

I don't need the RPGs for that, I owned two of them, neither one very good as I recall, because its' a big universe out there. But Babylon 5 had a particular story to tell and they told it. Maybe they'll wow me with something new, but I'm afraid it just won't measure up. Hence my ambivalence.
