As some can see, I've a lot of free time to spare today. My whole family is Covid-positive, so no kindergarten for my son, no job for my GF and I. Yeah!
Another hot take with deep implication (nha really, just for funs) : what if I removed Proficiency bonus from my games?
Let say my players are dumber than rocks and forget to add their PB to 90% of the stuff they should (yes, even if it is already calculated/written on their sheet). I want to go easy on them and make those big bad maths easier for them, and I remove PB for both players and creatures. Or say I want to make ability mods more important than the rest.

What happens if:
- I give a flat bonus to trained skills. +5 ala 4e? Only +2? Make it roll under where a trained skill add +2 to the relevant stat?
- Weapon and spell attack rolls are made with only 1d20+mod
- Saves are made also with 1d20+mod against a DC of 8+mod
- I Reduce monsters HP by a lot (say half).
- I get real generous with magic/masterwork weapons and tools
- I say that features usable PB/rest are now once per 4 character levels.
Again, how does it look? Entertain me, Enworld! I'm really bored.
