My favorite real-world location is probably Mont St. Michel. Not so much a castle, but rather a fortified town built around an abbey on an island reachable only at low tide. Just a *really* cool location!

What's the best castle you've ever used in game? This includes inhabited castles or ruins, but I'm really looking for above-ground structures, rather than sunken ones. Have you had a particularly good experience with a castle from a module?
