D&D 5E Best on screen depiction of the wizard class

It's a bit unfortunate that the final polls are the ones with most overlap of archetypes to be found on screen. But it is what it is. As always, I'm sure there will be omissions and some of the names could be in one of the other two polls (there are a million anime wizards for example). just trying to do my best. You get 4 votes to choose the best representation of the wizard on screen.

I think both title characters in Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell are among the best examples of D&D style study wizards, though there are some Fey pacts too.

Gandalf is a weird use case. He's without a doubt an iconic wizard. His appearance is about 90% what we think of when we think "wizard." Yet he doesn't actually cast that many spells. Still, he got my vote. So did Howl - he's eccentric and has an awesome abode. And finally Profion, for being a scenery-chewing ham.

Yeah, I suspect Gandalf and Dumbledore will win despite others being more accurate of an actual D&D wizard mechanics wise. I guess it is what it is.

Harry Potter characters are an odd case in D&D terms, since you have to be both a sorcerer (inherently magical) and a wizard (trained to use spells).

Doctor Strange is probably the most D&Dish of the more mainstream options.
