Having nothing else to offer, Eithal removes the axe from her back, "Heyah. Eyit's all ah got." She lays it down in the pool, watching it sink beneath the placid surface, then without a backward glance, she turns and walks away. [sblock=Ministats]Eithal Lemindt Arehei Female Goliath Warden Level 4

Sudden Roots: Whenever Eithal hits an enemy with an Opportunity Attack, that enemy is slowed until the end of its next turn.

Crushing Earthstrength: When Eithal uses her second wind, she gains a +4 bonus to her weapon damage rolls until the end of her next turn.

Guard of Stone: While Eithal is under the effect of her stone’s endurance racial power, each enemy marked by Eithal takes an additional penalty to attack rolls for attacks that don’t include Eithal as a target. The penalty equals her Constitution modifier and lasts until the end of her next turn.[/sblock]

Good, now maybe we can settle this like dwarves! one on one. trying to stay confident in the face of such overwelming odds, Fredrock starts his assault on the Undead Lord. I hope I've given them enough time to get to safety--if indeed that golden light was safe he thinks as he he takes what he expects is his last swing.

OOC: Red dwarf is about to die! Red Dwarf needs food, badly!

Toeto, too, steps into the pool. She whispers, "This is all I can do, Fredrock. I... I hope it is enough." With that, she lays hands flat on the rippling surface and mutters a prayer to the spirits.

OOC: Healing Spirit on Fredrock, if possible. He spends a surge and gains an additional 5 hp.

Luinnar

First Post
Kaz slowly takes out his original executioner's axe. It was not magical or specially made, but it was important to him, a sign of his change from his past life. Still it was only a material thing, not important compared to a life. As he places it in the water he feels almost the last of his energy being drained from him.

OOC: Kaz gives up his spare executioner's axe (not the magical one). It is not special stat wise, but it is important to his background. He also gives up his action point.

Mewness

First Post
Scarmiglione offers his healing potion and the vial of holy water he found. Much as it pains him to part with a shiny object, he'll offer the gold statuette as well if that helps.

The only remaining daily power he has is an item daily (from the shadowdance armor). He'll offer that if possible.

But Scarmiglione considers his most valuable asset to be his voice, so, breathing deeply and standing up straighter, he offers a song--this one from an opera where the hero makes a moving, heartfelt plea to an ancient god to save his lady-love. After his rather panicked efforts to calm Yishim, this performance is truly first-rate. His fine baritone drifts out, reaching even Fredrock in the pass.

Iron Sky

Procedurally Generated
Everyone's belongings, blood, magic and song sink into the golden pool and vanish. For a moment, there is no response, but suddenly the group can see the battle as though they are standing in the air over Fredrock's head...

---

As the dead move in to finish Fredrock off, the dwarf begins to glow with a radiant golden light. The lesser dead begin to push away from him, but the Lord raises his sword and a wall of shadow clashes against the wall of light coming from Fredrock and the two flicker and flash as the light clashes with dark.

A golden orb swirls above Fredrock's head and from it stride golden ghosts of Kaz and Eithal, a powerful spell detonates amidst the dead, healing energies pour into the dwarf from distant companions, and Scarm's song calls out, giving Fredrock hope and bolstering everyone for a desperate gambit to save their companion.

[sblock=Sacrifice Results]General: Fredrock regains 1 PP per person willing to assist him(5 PP).

From Yishim: Fredrock gets 2 healing surges and an action point that he can spend right now. Yishim may make his Phantom Chasm daily as though Fredrock cast it (though no OAs provoked).

From Eithal: A spectral conjuration of Eithal appears in any square adjacent to Fredrock(including vertically), one of Eithal's encounter powers recharges, and it is used on a target of Eithal's choice.

From Toeto: Fredrock spends a healing surge to regain a total of 16 hitpoints.

From Kaz: A spectral conjuration of Kaz appears in any square adjacent to Fredrock(including vertically) and may use one of Kaz's at-will powers on a target of Kaz's choice. Fredrock gains a second AP.

From Scarm: Fredrock spends a surge and regains 10 hp. Also, Scarm may hit a target of choice with the vial of holy water. The gold statuette gives Fredrock an aura 10 that imposes a -2 penalty to all enemy defenses and causes any dead to flee unless they are in the aura of another of the dead(the Rerisen Lord has the only aura). Fredrock regains the use of his Dwarven Scale Armor. Finally, everyone gets a single dice reroll from Scarm's song(any 1 dice, attack, damage, whatever).

Summary:
*Fredrock gains 5 PP - yes, even though it exceeds his normal maximum.
*Fredrock gained and used 2 healing surges for a total of 26hp healed.
*Fredrock gained and may immediately use 2 Action Points.
*Yishim may cast Phantom Chasm.
*Eithal regains and can make an encounter attack.
*Kaz can make an at-will attack.
*Scarm can hit a target of choice with a level 6 vial of holy water.
*Fredrock gains an aura 10 that gives the enemy -2 defenses and will cause the enemy to flee once the Rerisen Lord is killed.
*Fredrock regains his item daily Dwarven Scale Armor.
*Until the start of Fredrock's next turn, all players may reroll any 1 dice and take the second result.[/sblock]

[sblock=The Ravine(Combat)][sblock=Terrain]The area in front of Fredrock narrows to a 3x3 area before dropping to 1 square. 1 square behind the gap it widens to 2 squares, beyond that it is 3. If he gets pushed back more than 1 square, they'll be able to quickly surround him.[/sblock]

[sblock=Combatants]All enemies have -2 defenses. The Archers and Death Motes are outside the Lord's aura and will flee.
