Boog loads his crossbow.

The second wasp moves up alongside it's companion.

Boog took aim with his crossbow as the giant insects flew closer. These were truly dumb beasts, and he hoped that conflict could be avoided. No sense wasting resources.

But if conflict was inevitable, there was no point in prolonging it. As soon as it was obvious that the wasps intended to attack the party, Boog let one of his bolts fly at the closer of the two wasps. The bolt sunk deep in to the creature's abdomen; Boog was pleased. First blood, or ichor, or whatever gave wasps life.[sblock=OoC: ]Boog will not fire if he believes the wasps are just passing by, but will not hesitate to shoot if they move to attack (firing at no more than 120' range). Attack roll is d20=3=17, damage is d10=8. Actions for next round include reloading if Boog is not engaged, and dropping the crossbow and defending himself with his staff if he is.[/sblock]
