Zeph, I have no knowledge of 4e and do not have the books. Would this be an issue?

I know Star Wars Saga Edition, which is supposedly similar.

No worries, you'll be fine. The concept is to figure out the gate key for each vault, so will be a lot of logic puzzles that are system neutral and you'll be as ready for those as anyone. 4e combat is pretty easy to learn, and I don't doubt you'll be knocking heads with the best of them after a few rounds.

I can make the PC for you ahead of time and send it as a PDF beforehand so you can at least be familiar with your powers. Just tell me race and class. No one has stated a preference yet so I think it's an open field.

In general folks attending my game should post their PC thoughts so we can hopefully build a well rounded group.

I hope folks enjoy playing this scenario as much as I've enjoyed preparing it!

I think those are TBD right now. Does anyone remember the time slots from last year? VC what do you think we should do? Your house and all...
I'll copy this into the front post.

Breakfast: 8:30 - 9:30 am.
Morning game: 9:30 am - 1:30 pm.
Lunch: 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm.
Afternoon: 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm.
Then people figure out dinner, as needed.

Sound good? We normally start at 9, but I prefer 9:30.

OK so far for 7 vaults:

AO Overkitty Dwarven rogue
Storminator Elven Wizard

Sounds good to me. Dwarven Rogue sounds like a good choice.

Hey Overkitty - here's an dwarven rogue. He's very mobile, does solid damage, and is hard to kill. Other builds would hit more. He fights with a warhammer only becasue I think that's wikked cool. YMMV.

If you have a preference in how you'd like your rogue to play, say it here and maybe the other players will have suggestions as to changes we can make. I'll hold off on sending you a PDF until we've gotten some feedback.

Thanks!
