So, you use your haste partial action to begin casting. You complete the casting with your standard action (and can then move, because that's part of a standard action). The creature acts immediately upon appearing.

...you could start a full-round action and then finish it the next round with a cast a spell action. Spells that take longer than 1 full round to cast take twice as long to cast.
That seems to say that you could start a 1 round spell during your partial action and finish it with your regular action. Do you think T&B got it wrong on page 80, contradicting this core rule?dcollins said:
