Forged Fury

First Post
Hearing a few rounds of gunfire from the adjacent room, Cyril knew for sure that he had no desire to be in there. He did, however, spy a serving window connecting to the next room. Sliding the window open, he saw even more insanity in the room. Medusa from Clash of the Titans was fighting T-Dawg and Feral. In addition, Kafka had apparently joined the party. Fortunately, Cyril's time in the pen had rendered his fear of cockroaches inert. Not that he wasn't above shooting it. Taking aim, he squeezed off a shot.

OOC: Move Action - To the serving window and slide the window open.
Standard Action - Fire Keihn's pistol [roll0], Damage: [roll1]

Cyril opened the pass-through window leading from the serving and storage area into the fellowship hall. He leaned out the window and fired off a shot from Keihn's Glock that missed the cockroach.

OOC: Otter's up, Shayuri!

Otter barged her way up from the basement, rucksack in one hand, hardrive in the other. She heard the shots fired, all right, and darted into the kitchen. Keihn had been shot; someone put a bullet through his head, and no one else seemed to be in the kitchen for now. There was the door to the south that led to the storage and serving area. Or the hallway to the north. Or the fellowship hall, but judging by the horrific sounds of gunplay, shouting, and...was that snakes...that way seemed iffy. Otter froze, her mind a whir of gears, spinning through possibilities.

Inside the storage and serving area, Bukowski crossed the room and tried the back door. Finding it locked, he pulled a Gerber from a back pocket and started jimmying the lock. After a moment, a click announced he'd gotten the bolt to withdraw. He opened the door and tried to get Cyril's attention.

Garvey took a five foot step backward and stepped on the giant cockroach with her bare foot. There was a crack and sickening squelching sound, and Garvey grimaced in disgust. Shaking her heel free of the roach's ichor, she moved diagonally instead, then raised her Glock and fired off two shots, one at T-dawg, one at Feral. Both shots missed. As she did, the giant cockroach reared up on its intact hind legs and bite, dealing Garvey 1 point of damage.

OOC: Feral's turn, Kiraya_TiDrekan! Man, Garvey is a really terrible shot! Shayuri, you let me know in advance that you'd be absent here and there over Thanksgiving, so if you reappear and want to state a turn for this round, I will work it in. Right now, Otter is in the kitchen.

Feral's mind was in action mode...he'd freak out later, but for now, he shouted, "Don't shoot the bug, its on our side!"

Grappling was NOT going to work so Feral opted for another kick to the face.

Kick to the face - [roll0] Damage - [roll1]

Feral swung a roundhouse kick at Garvey, landing the blow right in her mouth. Coupled with his earlier kick and T-dawg's savage haymaker, it was one blow too many. Garvey fell over backward on top of the cockroach, unconscious. Not even her snakes rattled or moved. The giant roach bucked, freeing itself and sending Garvey's limp form crashing to the fellowship hall terrazzo floor.

OOC: T-dawg is up, gribble! Garvey is at -42/41 hp. Bukowski and the Giant Cockroach are all that remain of this encounter.

End of Round 4, start of Round 5

T-dawg stepped forward uncertainly. The large bull of a man crouched down by Garvey and had a look at her to see if she was dead or just unconscious. As he did, the giant cockroach scuttled away, the exoskeleton of its front limbs clacking on the hard terrazzo floor. The grotesque insect climbed the wall to safety, crouching in the southwest corner of the wall and ceiling. Ichor seeped from its front leg, where Garvey had trod on it.

OOC: How much of T-dawg's fist attacks was lethal versus non-lethal, gribble? I'm pretty sure you specified lethal, but want to double check. End of Round 4. Start of Round 5. Only the Giant Cockroach remains. J.R. is up, Rubberneck (glad you're still with us to the bitter end!).

J.R. keeps his gun levelled at Garvey and moves up alongside T. He keeps his a weary eye on the roach as well, not 100% sure of its intentions.

"T, Feral cover yinz ears."

Once T Dawg and Feral protect their ear drums, he puts a single round point blank into Garvey's skull for good measure.

OOC: Really hoping this falls under coup de gras and I don't have to roll for it because it would be super embarrassing to miss and put a round in the floor haha

After which J.R. looks around the room nervously, all expectations of how the world is supposed to work has faded. All else he can manage to say at this moment is,

"Wah da f**k is gowen on?"

It almost seems as the question is a plea for answers.

OOC: After reading the map and realizing that Feral is also close to the body I'll give him the same warning to cover his ears and will modify my post to say so.

J.R. plugged Garvey at point blank ranger for [roll0] points of damage. The bullet went neatly into her head, right between her eyes, and left a small precise hole. The giant roach hissed at the loud pop.

OOC: Makes more sense to be done with initiative. Please post at will. Garvey is dead, the last shot to the head tanked her. There's just the roach in the corner of the ceiling. Bukowski last motioned to Cyril to leave out the rear door of the storage and serving area. Otter's in the kitchen. What's left of Marks is in the storage and serving area.
