Spelljammer Check Out These Spelljammer Ships!

WotC has shared some of the upcoming Spelljammer ship designs in a video with Chris Perkins.

Living ship as a ship grown out of a Treant is a neat concept.

Though I've always wanted there to be a living ship that's more like Farscape's Moya (with Pilot included).

Is this the first confirmation of air being a resource in 5E SJ? And that it can be fouled? Very cool. I worried Helms were going to hand-wavium air for Spelljamming vessels. Glad I was wrong.

I've always been very puzzled by Spelljammer. I remember when it came out the first time. I had nothing against it but decided it wasn't for me. I tend to prefer a more "traditional fantasy" setting for D&D. If I wanted to play in space with space ships, I'd play Star Wars or Star Trek or something along those lines. I'm curious if there is indeed a HUGE following for Spelljammer and if so, what do they like about it?

I am getting very excited for this release. I like the addition of the Astral Sea, but I understand those who dislike the change. I am psyched to see new ships beyond the standard fare from the past.
