Yeah, when I was designing this one I was really hoping to put in a skill challenge. That was my original reason for making the townsfolk so paranoid. Unfortunately, I just couldn't figure out how to do it without making a penalty for failure that took the game in a direction I didn't want.

I think that, should I continue this "Adventure Series", the next thing would be to have the players confront the Mayor about his deal with the Gloommist Devil. Since the Mayor is already slightly insane, it could be an interesting challenge to get any real information out of him.

But I haven't done any work towards a second adventure. Right now I'm gearing up to run Oakhurst Reloaded next weekend, and I've discovered that I'll need to make some character-scale maps of the two towns and a farm in order to have everything ready.
