A courier comes in bearing a large breastplate-shaped box, hands it to Michael, gets his signature, and departs. As he does, he drops a note in front of Vanitri. It's not particularly subtle, but it is meant to be discreet.

It contains an invitation to dinner for Vanitri, at the equivalent of 9 pm "after Laynie is in bed".
Mearran is graciously, but firmly, disinvited, "as this is a meeting of old companions. I hope to have another in a few months, and welcome him then as an old companion."

Vanitri slips the note into a pouch.

"Well, let us be out. Are you all set Laynie?" Vanitiri asks.

OOC: I'm slightly confused, only in that I thought Michael was out at an adventure already.

"Umm...I guess so. I don't really have anything to set."

 

[Bront]

"Well, let us be off then." Vanitri says.

OOC: We need a thread? Vanitri intends to try to gather information on the magical accademy.

(OOC: New thread to appear momentarily. Anyone who wants to help Laynie, which seems to be only Vanitri and Mearran, can go there )

"If Ros or Michael come looking for me Joe, tell them I'll be back this way eventualy." Vanitri says, as he escorts Laynie and Mearran out.

A lovely young woman strides confidently into the Inn. Her alert green eyes scan the room, while her firey red hair is pulled back into a ponytail. Her clothing and armor accent her well toned body, fitting her tightly for both form and function. She calls out as she enters "Juliana Hayes" before she takes a seat at the bar.

"As I have some time, I am willing to offer my services as a craftsman of find weapons and armor. I assure you anything I make is of the highest quality."

Vanitri slips the note into a pouch.

"Well, let us be out. Are you all set Laynie?" Vanitiri asks.

OOC: I'm slightly confused, only in that I thought Michael was out at an adventure already.

OOC: Leaves "tomorrow morning, at 0700". Time being flexible here, he thought it might work. If not, eh...

Mearran pushes the water back to Joe with a quiet thanks, and strides out lightly, waving as he goes.

The half orc stood up from the seat he had taken only a short while ago, placed his long spear up against the wall, and set about tightening some of the straps on his armor. He watched casually as the group that had been talking when he entered slowly departed, but seemed ultimately to be more interested in straightening his appearance. Without a word, he crossed the room and walked out into the sunlight.
