Cloud Kill and concentration...

Concentration states that a spell caster must make a check (10+1/2 continual damage). Would the Con loss count as continual damage?

If a caster is stuck in a cloud kill, would the damage taken as part of the Con loss force a concentration check?

I wouldn't call it 'continual damage', but instead 'Distracted by non-damaging spell'

If it's tracked as 'continual damage', it's harder for higher-level wizards to concentrate through, which is just weird.

(Concentrate DC = Cloudkill DC)

Hmm, would it stack or be a second check if the spell caster is also being damaged by other spells?

Nasty senerio, Force Cage (bars), Dimension Lock, Acid Fog, Incendiary Cloud, Cloud Kill.

Would there be just one concentracion check or would the damaging spells force a check and the Cloud Kill force a different check?

Yea, I thought it would be wierd for a higher level caster to be forced to make a higher DC concentration check, but then again, they have higher concentration too.

Con damage is not hp damage, it merely lowers your maximum total hps (and current), so that should not be taken into account when making a Concentration check. However the Con damage does lower your Concentration skill and that makes the Concentration check harder to make.
