Crumb's Black Angels in particular, is a chilling work. The Kronos Quartet CD of the same name has an excellent version.

If your players are unfamiliar with world music, Tibetan chanting (deep, guttural intonations punctuated with blaring double reed horns and percussion) or Balinese kecak (a large chorus chanting the syllable 'chak' in frenetic interlocking rhythm) can be unsettling and otherworldly for specific scenes.
