[CV] What the spork is the point of Beastskin Armour?

I don't know, maybe I'm stupid, but why would anyone want Beastskin armour when there's Wild in the DMG. Lets see, a fixed price mod on Wild, as opposed to a +2 on Beastskin, doesn't cost me an extra use of wildshape, and I still keep my armour bonus? And better yet, I don't worry about Armour Check penalty or speed nerfs with Wild!

What the spork's the point of Beastskin?

Wild is a +3 ability.

The other difference seems to be that, when wildshaped, you'll only benefit from the AC bonus granted by the Wild Armor (and not additional abilities, as Resistance, Fortification, etc.) while a Beastskin armor keeps all of its abilities.
