CW Divine Shield?

From Complete Warrior, the feat Divine Shield that grants a bonus equal to your charisma modifier. Does this stack with all other shield bonuses? eg. CHA bonus +2 heavy shield+2 = +6AC or do the 'magic' and CHA bonus cancel each other.

cheers

The text does not specify a bonus type, but according to the table, it's a sacred bonus. It would stack with a shield bonus and an enhancement bonus that increases the shield bonus, but not with another sacred bonus (should you have one) from another source.

I have a question regarding the wording of Divine Shield. The short description says you can channel energy to make your shield more effective for EITHER offense OR defense; the mechanics however indicate that Divine Shield only increases your shield's efficacy regarding defense.

What would the "offensive" uses of Divine Shield be? Instead of giving an AC bonus, could it instead to be used to give your shield an enhancement bonus when used as a weapon, eg for shield bashing? Or maybe you could choose to split your CHA bonus between offense and defense, the same way you could with a Defending weapon?

Text trumps table, so the bonus is untyped, yes?

Possibly. When something is an untyped bonus, does it usually read as "+x untyped bonus," or just as "+x bonus"?
