SeconD eDition aDvanceD Dungeons anD Dragons. Per edition this has the highest content by volume but not by percentage.

I believe the 2nd edition reprint of Dungeonland has the highest percentage per module and the highest number total is the Dragonlance: Dragons of Dawn... But I haven't done a deep delve to decide. 🤣

Since the ampersand symbol is actually just a stylized version of the two letter Latin "et" I would deem D&D to be 50% "D" and Dungeons & Dragons to be 11.76% "D".

I remember as far back as the 1e MM 'D' was always overrepresented in the monster manual, on account of of demons, devils, and dragons.

Longest overall letter appears to have been S, with G, C, and B after it in that edition.

If we're taking D&D as a whole (i.e. every word that appears in every officially-published book), then it will average out at close to the average frequency of the letter in English written texts, which some quick googling suggests is 4.3%.
