D&D4e - Can an immobilized prone creature stand up?

Hi mu dubt is if in D&D 4e an immobilized knocked prone creature/player can stand up even if he is imobilized.

Since PHB-1 say that u cant move from your "space".

And later it say that Space is the squares u ocupie.

Since u r prone u ocuppie just 1x1 saquare. So maybe u just can stand up since u cant ocuppie 2x1 squares cause u r immobilized!

Any help? can u stand up or not?
