As people are gathering, Warren climb on his pedestal and asks for silence. "Today's tournement will be conduct just like the first round. Only four of you in each category will remain for the final, two for the grand final and two for the third place. The rules havn't change since the last time. You can chage your weapon for today. You are still restricted to two weapons, one shield and one armor. If you need ammunition, you'll have 20 of them per weapon. Any questions?"

Jik'tu stands ready, he has chosen the heavy flail (used two handed) and a ransuer for his weapons. Full plate for his armor.

He has painted his face red with a claylike die pigment.

ooc: Octavio will select a rapier and a hand crossbow (10 bolts) for weapons, and a breastplate for armor.

Most contestant just ignore the Orc, but a few novice seems intimidated by him. Warren sees there is no more questions, so he continue.

"Takes your equipement and prepare yourselves. I'll enter first with the contestant of the conjuration duel before going with the martial duel." Warren lead the casters into the Arena. Two hours later, the contestant come back and Warren quickly look at the martial duel contestant. "You are all ready, fine. Let's enter the place." All the contestant of both level follow Warren into the Arena's field.

Quozen is the first to arrive at the Arena. As he arrives, he sees the people who want to enter the Arena. Many people are waiting. It seems a bit less populated then the last days, but the mysteries behind the Maze seems to have less raise the interest than the duels. Before going into the backstage, he climb up the stairs and see the arena's field covered with a deep fog. He can see nothing, except at some moment, the top of a wall. He turns around and make his way throught teh crowd that is entering the tribune and turn to the corridor that lead to the backstage. As the last time, he pass in front of small room where the contestant of the craft contest are putting the final touch to there creation. Beautifull outfit decorated with silver and golden threads, ceremonial sword, jeweled dagger, small statuettes. The judges of that contest will have hard time to give a winner between all these items that could all be found in the hands of a guildmaster. He enter the backstage and see the contestant are starting to gather.

Semabin, Deos and Octavio all arrive a moment later, all coming together, talking about the contest of the day before, and the combats that await them the day after. They see Reynold that is talking to Warren. He seems to fix the last things for the contest of the day. Everyone wait a moment as other contestants continue to arrive. At one moment, Reynold walk up to his pedestal and asks for silence.

"Welcome to di Senzio's Tournement. I see some new faces, and other that I have seen trying there skills and luck in other contest. I'm happy to see how popular this tournement have been up to now. We have seen many of the classical contest you can see in other cities. But today, the contest of the Maze have been designed by Rinaldo di Senzio himself. He have thought of a way to challenge the wits of everyone and it is what you'll need the most."

Reynold makes a sign to Warren who bring him a scroll.

"On the other side of these door await you a simple maze. Nothing where you lose yourself for days wandering in it. The maze is composed of five rooms. You'll have to cross these five rooms in order. As you enter a room, you,ll might find many exit. You'll have to make a choice of which one you'll take. If there is only one, you can try to take it to the next room. If there is none... just find one, there is always at least one. Some clues might be in the room to help you make you choice and reach the next room more quickly. The goal, it is to be the faster to cross the five rooms.

You can carry what item you want, use any magic you want. For the items, you can pick the one you want behind me. The only limitation is you need to pass throught one of the exit. You cannot pass over the walls to reach the next room as no rooms have roof. Judge and publics want to see you.

You will enter once at a time. The others will have to wait here so they cannot know what is happening.

After his speach, you see all there is most common items behind him, laying on a table.

[SBLOCK=OOC]You can bring any common non-magical, non-alchemical and non-masterwork items, weapons and armors as you please. They are all available.

How we will work: even if everyone go one at a time, we will do it all at once. All text will need to be SBLOCKED as soon as you enter the maze. I'll trust the player at not reading the others SBLOCK. You'll have to declare what you'll do on a round basis (you might want to declare more than a round at a time if you want) and it will be that way we will calculate the time.

If you think you are stuck and can't find anything, you can ask for a clue. That is your character who is thinking and looking at his surroudning. Doing so, you'll lose 1d4+4-(Int or Wis modifier) rounds. The stat that modify depend on the nature of the clue.[/SBLOCK]

Octavio has no questions and will take the equipment loadout as listed on his character sheet, leaving behind his bedroll(too heavy and probably won't be needed) and sunrods(alchemical).

Semabin keeps his weapons and armor, but stows away his other items (especially as he isn't entirely sure what he brought along, anyway). He chooses a backpack to hold his items of choice, a silk rope, and a mirror. He shortly contemplates a lantern, but then realizes that there really shouldn't be any places that are too dark to see - there's an audience, after all.

Deos leaves his bedroll in his room at the Red Dragon, but otherwise brings all of his gear with him. As Reynold mentions that they may choose to take some of the simple items with them, he picks up a few pieces of chalk, and a ball of string.

He prepares the following spells for the day:

After making sure he is ready, he gets back in line and nods to those on either side of him. "Let us hope that Mr. diSenzio is up to the task of challenging us."

Quozen awakens from his trance to pick last. He leaves his beautiful new rapier behind, but takes along a few additional items: a spade, a sledge, a mirror, silk rope, and a pole.

As everyone tells they are ready, Reynold start to name the contestant and the order they will enter the Maze. Once that done, he asks the first contestant, a young halfling female, to enter the Maze. Warren opens the door and led her into the Arena. Everyone else wait. It takes many minutes before Warren come back. He put back the equipment the first contestant had taken so someone else can take it if he desire so. The Halfling don’t come back yet, she is waiting on the Arena field, to prevent that she tells anything about the Maze to other contestant. One by one, each contestant is call and led outside. At some point, it is your name that is call, so you take your stock and walk to Warren.

“Please, follow me” You follow Warren to the Arena as the other see you leaving the backstage.

[SBLOCK=Deos]As you enter the Arena field, you see there field has undergone a serious transformation. Walls of stone have been erected and you can only see, you’re your point of view, a large rectangular structure. The only thing you can see that break the flat wall is a small hall with a door. It is there Warren lead you. He makes you stand in front of a line and you see the door in front of you.

“As soon as you cross that line, we will start to count the time you’ll be in the maze. I remind you that you can’t climb over the wall to reach the next room or to check what is coming next, but as long as you head doesn’t go higher than the top of the wall, you can do what you want. You can enter when you want.”

After a quick moment you cross the line and open the door.

As you enter the room, you see room twenty feet by twenty feet. The walls are crudely made, not like the one you’ve seen on the outside. They are full of handle and holes. In front of you, you see a wooden door with a silvery lock. Above you, you see there is no roof, as they have told you, and you can easily see the tribune. It is then you finally realize that something was bugging you and you understand what, you don’t hear the crowd. Probably a silence spell cut the sound from the crowd. As you step forward, you hear a small squeaky sound. You see a rat that quickly run into one of the hole. You also see a magpie that has been scared by the rat flying to a small hole in the top of the wall.
