Semabin luck quickly run out and slash in the air again like a novice, but his opponent seems not better. the first slash teh air, and the second would have it if it wasn't of Semabin defensive position. The two warriors seems to continue there duel, absorbed by there action and not even hearing the crowd cheering.

In the other circle, the combat wasn't more exciting, both seeming to be unable to find his opponent weakness. The two knight, shielded in there large full plate mail, hiding under behind there large steel shield, have been ringing like to bells. It is the one wielding the flail that got over his opponent, by tripping the one holding the longsword. Well placed, he put his opponent on his back and easily pierce his opponent armor. The armor hardly take the hit, taking a starnge shape at the elbow of the shield arm, but the man under doesn't seems to have taken more easely, and his situation is dire, being ;laying on teh ground at teh feet of his opponent.

The combat between Semabin and his elven opponent doesn't seems to be near the end, as both continue to swing the air, giving poor quality blow. Semabin only see his blade sliding on the chain, without even scratching it while the elf cannot even touch his opponent.

Semabin embellishes his strike a bit too much, telegraphing it to his opponent. The elf not only block it easily, but also create a wide opening and strike in it. A twist from Semabin prevent the blow to be a solid one, but Semabin starts to feel teh pain in all his body after all those blow.

[SBLOCK=OOC]The elf just did 3 damage on Semabin.
Semabin: 28 damage received
Opponent: 14 damage received [/SBLOCK]

Semabin swings hard, and with a body roll that is only known to the Sairundani, a move that combine both the swordmanship knowledge and dancers skill the dervish teach to there fellow tribemate, Semabin suprise his opponent. The sword heavily hit his opponent and the elf fall to the ground, unconscious. The crowd cheer, impress by the move, and seeing there is a winner.

But Semabin is annoyed... the blade didn't slide as well as it should have been, it had hit too hard and in the fat of the torso. In normal combat, it would not have killed his opponent. But people know the elf are far from the endurence of a dwarf, and it wasn,t Semabin first hit.

Khairi, in the crowd, have seen that move again and again while he was younger. He also has seen something wasn't that good in Semabin stikes, but it seems it was enough.

"Semabin ai Harudan is the winner" As Semabin return to the edge of the circle, two man carry the elf on the side and awake him. A healer come to Semabin "Let me heal your wounds. You'll have another fight to do."

The next combats vary a lot. A dwarf quickly push out a gnome who hadn't the time to react to his opponent. Two humans in full plate just fought the longuest battle of the first round. It seems behind there shield and armor, they were untouchable.

Semabin, tired after his battle, never-the-less raises his scimitar in salute to the audience, despite his own misgivings about his performance. He thanks the healer who tends to him, and watches the other fights that take place before his second one. The warriors in full plate will be hard to defeat when remaining defensive myself, Semabin thinks to himself. Especially if I remain this inconsistent. Maybe I should take up the dwarf on his offer.

As Semabin is announced the winner Khairi cheers him on, for his exciting finish to the fight, almost song like in the Sairundani way.
