It is not a single weapon. But DMG has Kusari-Gama. Which is a light reach weapon. Thus can be usable with TWF without trouble (the description seems odd and does not much to the way it is actually used, though).
Where is this??

Hah!!! Arms & Armor from Bastion Press!!

Meteor Hammer & Mother and Son Hammer.

Both consist of a length of finely woven rope that branches out at the end. At the end of these two braches is an ovoid weight (M&S hammer has weights in the melon size). The example given for the Meteor Hammer is taking out a carriage's horse team in one shot while sitting in a tree. Might not be the most realistic of examples, but it shows the weapon is intended to hits multiple targets at range.

Meteor Hammer (Liu Xing Chui): Medium Exotic Weapon
Damage:1d6/1d6 Crit:19-20/x2 Reach:15 ft

Mother & Son Hammer (Zi Mu Chui): Large Exotic Weapon
Damage:1d8/1d8 Crit:19-20/x2 Reach:10 ft

Both weapons can hit/threaten targets out to their respective ranges.

The book was written for 3.0, but has been recently upgraded. That book should have the 3.5 stats.

Googling for the meteor hammer came up with these images:

The Master of Chains PrC in 3.0 gave the ability to use a spiked chain as a double weapon. In of itself, the chain is not a double weapon, however the PrC special ability allows it to be used as one. The reach of the weapon is reduced to 5' when doing so.

double weapons with alternative reach

Oriental Adventures had a few weapons that could be used either as double weapons, or reach weapons (but not both simulatneously).

Out of curiousity, what are the other stats? (And what was the subject of the article?)

The article is called "The Point of Pole Arms" by Ari Marmell (the undead mouse RULES!) It adds more polearms to the rules and discusses the ones in the core rules.

The Awl Pike is listed as Exotic, 1d8 damage, x3 critical, 10 lb weight 15 ft reach.

The article lists 31 polearms (including the ones in the PHB) and includes pictures of the most common polearms as well as some feats for poleam users.

Very cool article.
