D&D 5E Drizzt Do'Urden official stats in D&D Beyond Announcement?

I'll point out Drizzt is a monk now too. Honestly Kensai monk multiclassed with Ranger. The Barbarian thing is was over a century now, chalk that up to retraining.

And Drizzt is probably 10 levels higher now, based on inflation alone.

He's not a Ranger in 5th ed. No reason for it.

He's a Fighter/Barbarian/Monk who has the right subclasses, skills, and background. And with current novels I think he's at least a 10th level Monk. So something like F8/B1/M10.

he has a special pair of bracers that allow him to move faster so maybe buffed boots of elvenkind and just reflavor them as a bracer

Did they just pull those from one of those old 2E books where they gave stats to characters from the novels, and always gave them ludicrously high stats? Ahhhh the bad old days.

The idea that Drizzt is particularly smart or wise is errrr... not well-supported by the books. At all. Let alone charismatic. Drizzt constantly fails to be charismatic, constantly gets overwhelmed by stronger personalities (even on the surface).

How long before they leak his "new" stats for the 2024 reboot? I mean these are 5 years old now and the new edition will need to be some sort of powercreep to get people to buy it.

I would rather he be made as a monster/npc instead of if he was a PC...
