Drow and an Archdevil previews

She has the perception skill so 26 is right.

Correct I assume it's actually supposed to be like this.

"The target can make a DC 26 Constitution saving throw at the end of each of it's turns, ending the effect on itself on a success."

As far as mistakes, can't speak to whether or not she should be resistant to radiant (I personally wouldn't for a devil subtype), or immune to necrotic, but as a devil there should be immunity to fire.

She is mostly using the Angel resistances. I assume an effect of being a fallen angel.

Can't wait for the bitter nay sayers to get here. They'll say that Zariel is weak and that their lvl 12 party can easily beat her.

Its a matter of taste, but I dont like the art of Zariel. Compared to other previews we've had in the last days, she seems generic and not all that threatening. I know Devils are less disgusting in appearance than demon lord, but this one is rather bland.

Anyway.

The story hooks for non-drow elves look good, with some nice inspiring stuff in it. Drow, on the other hand, are rather edgy/mary-sue in their hooks, but I guess that's true of any drow adventuring with an heroic party.

So, we get the wrapping up tables for Elves on 64, for Dwarves on 84, and for Gnomes on 114; this is after the final section on Demons in the Blood War chapter beginning on page 34, and likely being 2-3 pages based on the corresponding Devil section. Racial stats for Gith start on 96, while the Halfling/Gnome chapter begins on 99.

Moloch is in the Devil section on 176-177, whereas we now know we get Drow variants on page 184-185.
