Once the group gets moving, they quickly cover the ground to the town. Once near the town William draws his greatsword, ready for trouble. It didn't take long to find some. Seeing the Kobolds closing in on the woman and children William raises his sword and charges ahead, "Hookton!" he shouts as a war cry, quickly closing the distance.

OOC:
Attack and damage: 1D20+3 = [13]+3 = 16
1D10+5 = [5]+5 = 10

I'd like William to take the charge action, but only if he gets his DEX to AC and will only attract one attack from charging, otherwise he'll just move to engage an enemy

Gutter lets an arrow go and it sinks into one of the kobolds. Tina and William's shouting draw the attention of some of the other creatures, one making his way towards the woman, and ignoring their cries. William's sword brings low a kobold easily, nearly cutting the frail small beast in half. Tina locks weapons with a wickedly spiked club of the kobold she moved next to. Both combatants slowly finding their footing and clashing weapons once more, to no effect.

Gutter's second arrow finds it mark and finishes the creature that was advancing on the frightened family.

The remaining two kobolds try to swarm William and advance cautiously on the big warrior.

Gutter takes careful aim as William and two of the little beast battle in a circle of fury. His arrow finds it way through the throat of one of the beast trying to out flank William. It falls with a gurgle.

Tina takes a little more time to lure her opponent into a false sense of superiority, and then casually backhands the beast across the chest with the thick blade. William's blade is bigger than both of his opponents standing a top each other's shoulders, but it is also slow to wheel around and bring to bear after dispatching the first kobold. The second nimbly ducks the heavy swing, but not the arrow that took it in the throat. Gutter draws his second arrow but waits till a better shot presents itself, not wishing to hit the wounded woman.

The woman with the broken spear does her best to defend her family.

OOC: It was brave of you. Actually charging when you have the other two attacks means you'll get at least one before the opponent. As when you have two attacks in a round you don't use init, and get one attack first in the round and the second one at the end.

The kobold soon finds itself surrounded, but before it can decide on what to do, William spears it from behind with his great sword.

The small creature slides off the blade into a crumpled pile at the warrior's feet. The children near the man start to cry.

OOC: Combat over.
