True, but isn't the point of the descriptors to make those interactions explicit? Such as the example pointed out by hypersmurf regarding the cleric and deity alignment interaction for aligned descriptor spells.

It is quite a stretch to say that nonstated interactions are the RAW. Extrapolations using the descriptors as inspiration are fine, but I would say they fall under house rules and not RAW.

And under RAW the only time that an action's alignment is relevant is if a paladin does one. And I am not aware of them having any evil aligned spells on their spell list.
