D&D General Famous Mummy Lords of D&D?

Eberron has the mummy lord Malevanor, but he's probably not what you're looking for. Malevanor is a high priest of the Seekers of the Divinity Within, aka the Blood of Vol, and is a well known citizen of Karrnath. He preforms church services, helps direct his faith, and gets quoted in the newspapers.

So not exactly your typical undead, and more likely to lecture the PCs for their indiscriminate use of magic items that summoned him than he is to attack, but you did ask for a wide survey.

Actually it would be a fantastic adventure seed. The adventurers use the (rather silly) bag of beans and ends up summoning the Pyramid of Malevanor while he was performing service for the faithful of the Blood of Vol. Now, he asks the PC to GET HIM BACK RIGHT NOW WITH ALL HIS INNOCENT DISCIPLES. None of them is high level enough to planeshift back.

The Set Rahotep from Gary Gygax's Necropolis. Not official D&D, but it's available in 3.0 compatible and getting a 5e conversion soon.

In the 3rd edition adventure he is a vampiric lich (not technically a mummy, but he is presented that way). He's also a 15th level cleric and 10th level sorcerer. Nasty customer.

Legend
Another 2e one.

In Die Vecna Die there is a priest mummy.

Kaleb Hoddypeak, Mummy Priest 6: In life, Kaleb Hoddypeak was a half-elf from the Duchy of Geoff. He devoted a great deal of time secretly sabotaging the heroic undertakings of his famed half-brother Fonkin Hoddypeak, a full-blooded elf adventurer. Eventually, Kaleb discovered the Cult of Vecna and joined up, hoping the dark god would grant him secret knowledge to use in slandering Fonkin’s name. Before Kaleb could deal a crippling blow to Fonkin, villagers lynched him for his evil ways and threw his body into a bog. Vecna was impressed with Kaleb’s efforts and caused him to rise as a mummy.

One of the first mummies we see in D&D Third Edition is Aoket, from Heart of Nightfang Spire. A mummy with monk levels, he was formerly a high-ranking member of the cult of Ashardalon.
