Was anyone else as unimpressed by Eddie Redmayne as Newt, as I was? He's supposed to be the lead character, right? But he's the least interesting character of the whole movie.

That niffler definitely stole the show. But I thought this was supposed to be about Newt?

I enjoyed it enough to see it twice, yes they could have gone into more back story of Newt, it was a fun movie. Maybe it is me but after the second time seeing it, I saw a lot of Doctor Who in it.
