Fixing Bent and Warped Hardback Books

I have a problem. I bought a Ravenloft 3.5 book online and the shipper used crummy shipping. It was through a 3rd party via Amazon. Now i wonder, How do you fix a bad bend in a hardback book? Right now i have my Complete hardback Calvin and Hobbs on top of it to try to warp it back, But their is still an issue of the actual bend and its structural integrity. The bend goes throuh the center of the front and back of the cover.

Anyway, does anyone have any good fixes for hardback books? Or better yet a 3.5 Ravenloft you want to get rid of for cheap.

Here is a site that does some book repair procedures.

For your particular problem, you might try to contact them, or your local (main) library for suggestions. Smaller local community libraries might not have the facilities, but larger and main facilities often do repairs for the region.

Otherwise, I would get my money back and buy from a different dealer.
