v2.27
Start page, 2. Class & Level, Proficiency Bonus:
When using the drop down to select a value, the adjust value works as expected except when selecting the blank option. Typing the number 0 or deleting the contents of the cell with the backspace key works as expected, but selecting the blank option sets the bonus to "####". This behavior is not present with the initiative adjustment.

Fixed in v2.28, thanks

Any version why these range names would be #Value? CharacterEquipmentPackList, CharacterEquipmentWealthCarried, CharacterEquipmentWealthTotal?

=Tables!$KV$7 also returns a #Value. =Tables!$KV$2:$KV$6 and =Tables!$KV$8:$KV$9 all show values.

CharacterEquipmentPackList is an array of values, only used as a dropdown list for data validation - will return a #value!. The other 2 variables should return a defined value based on the values entered in the start sheet for Starting Equipment & Coinage. Note that if "gp", for example, is used under gems and jewelry for the total value and you translate the file then any gems and jewelry will need to be updated to the equivalent "gp" translation in the total value column.

Ah, thank you. Yes, I knew that one was an array, but the others were caused by the one item in 'Gems, Jewelry, Art Objects' not having a coin type listed.

For named ranges that are an array, you can use =index(array,#) to create a dynamic list. For example, on the spellcasting tab, if you put =INDEX(SpellListLevel1,1+AI16) in the first level 1 space and copy/paste formula to the rest of the list, you will have a dynamic list of spells to chose from (Useful for prepared casters that know all the spells like Clerics).

Forged Anvil,

Is there any sort of documentation that would let someone easily figure out where issues like that come from? I never would have guessed that failing to put a coin type for the value of a gem would have caused that sort of error.

For that matter, have you considered defaulting that value to 'gp' if it is blank so that error won't show up again?

Any chance that volo races and tortle will be added?

Not to sound like an ass, but have you used or played with Forge's CS? If you have downloaded the recent version (2.27), you will realize that the playable character races from Volo's Guide to Monsters are selectable character races in the CS.

Additionally, nothing will be added to the CS unless it has been published by WotC in a handbook, guide, manual, supplement, adventure or companion. While the tortle may have been released by WotC on dmsguild.com, doesn't mean it is in a published book.

While Forge's CS is unofficial, the material within it is official. Also, he has been very kind enough to add a custom tab, so users can add homebrew material. So, if you want to spend the $10 to get the tortle at dmsguild.com and use the custom tab to add it as a selectable character race, then by all means you are free to do that.

What version of the program are you using that you are not seeing those races available already? The later versions already support the races from Volo's Guide to Everything (though I am not sure what "tortle" is).

Tortles are from “The Tortle Package,” a turtle race at was released as part of the Extra Life fundraising campaign. It is official and considered part of XGtE.
