First thing I thought of was 'We already have the BOEF'. I guess technically the Arms and Equipment guide would be the closest thing to a shopping guide we have. And the Magic Item Compendium.

Me [n+1]!

The closest thing I've seen is Rule 34 on the Two Towers (if you don't know what rule 34 is, in a nutshell, it is that no matter what it is, porn exists of it). Not characters from the two towers mind you, but literally Sauron's tower having its way with Saruman's (spelling?) tower...

It's pretty funny, actually. But I digress.

Back on topic, I don't think a furniture book's really necessary. Let her adventure, gain a title and some land, build her own castle, and furnish it as she wants. If she really wants to feel like she's buying stuff, let her buy some objects d'arte, and she can find pictures online of what she just bought.

According to the dictionary:
Forniture is a chair having sex with another chair when they aren't married.
Furniture porn, or more popularly, porniture, is a rare fetish of stacked tables and chairs, and people tearing up couches and what not.

Umm... Stronghold Builder's Guidebook is FREAKING AWESOME if you have an afternoon to kill, or live in the midwest and have a teenhood to kill. Very, very long and involved building. Download the product enhancement and check out the Dragon article that adds more stronghold components. Let her character take the landlord feat, and she'll get a budget and'll be able to build some crazy stuff.

Hell, there's a whole "furniture porn" photo series out there. Chairs stacked on top of each other in different positions. I am serious.

I'm not surprised... I've got resistor porn and even lunch porn (as in a can of mountain dew having carnal relations with a ham sandwich)

Wow, this loveseat (giggle, love, giggle giggle)... its cushions are so round and rosey and soft... and those legs they are so...

(Shakes it off)

That's a good question - why isn't there any magical furniture? Sounds like a good product for a third party publisher?

is this common

Hi,
You know, I have run across several girlfriends & wifes of gamers that think the shopping aspect of D&D is great. Thankfully my own wife is a real Hack & Slash gamer.

But, have any of you ran across a large number of woman that would otherwise think D&D is totally childish, but still like the shopping?

RK
