The ship's public announcement system roared to life above your head and could be heard echoing throughout the hull of the aircraft carrier. "Attention all hands! Attention all hands! The following personnel are to report to Ready Room 25-3 at 1730 hours... London..., Falcone..., McMahon..., Fardie..., Iron-Knife..., Leialoha..., MacBride... That is all."

Rapid Fire finishs his 6th mile on the treadmill in the workout center, takes a quick shower and grabs his gear and makes for the ready room, arriving a few minutes early to see if he can find out what this drill is about.

Vincent, code name Falcon was standing near the crew mess staring long and hard at the stern of a few select seamen of the opposite sex. Round and firm just like the their double bows. He watched them is they got their meals. He was thinking about what would be the best way to start fraternizing with them. Of course his superiors wouldn't approve of him fraternizing in such a matter but it didn't stop him from 'fraternizing' with all those daughters of the revolutionaries he and the other Green Berets were sent to advise. I advised that sheik's daughter on several under cover operations. He then heard his named called on the intercom. So close but no cigar. He then started making his way towards the ready room.

The broadcast reaches Spirit on his way back to his cabin from the flightdeck where he used the opportunity to let Freedom fly a few circles over the carrier, but had ended this early due to the feeling that something was up.

His hunch confirmed, Spirit returns to the cabin where he grabs his already prepared gear and heads towards the Ready Room, with Freedom perching on his right shoulder.

Upon hearing the PA, Don Fardie aka Cross Hair grumbles to himself while looking over the rifle parts arranged carefully for cleaning on his bunk. "It's always something isn't it Vera? Oh well let's see about getting you back together and see what's up." With a practiced grace and speed Cross Hair quickly reassembles the rifle he calls Vera and heads out for the ready room.

Aaron McMahon sat in the chair against the wall of Ready Room 25-3. He watched the others come in, but didn't make a motion to them. He was looking forward to see if the commander or his teammates would realize his presense, again.

Ambush never snuck up on teammates, most of them were too hair triggered to even think about scaring. But if they didn't know he was there . . . well . . . he'd just have to wait until someone noticed . . . or until someone called roll.

1st Lt. Falcone entered the ready room. Was he in the right place? It looked like he might be the first of the team here. 'Falcon' is never the first unless it's with the ladies. He saluted any senior officer in the room and then turns around hoping he wasn't the first person here. This disgrace of officer had a bad rep to protect. He's wasn't the first here, that honor belonged to PFC Mchahon. Keeping quiet to himself until someone saw him. I bet you watch couples in the act while rubbing that mustache.

"Don't you salute an officer?"

The first thing noticeable as you enter the room is the faint odor of recycled air. The room was brightly lit, causing it to have an eerie, surreal appearance. An oversized table took up most of the room. A collection of simple, wooden chairs scattered around it. At the front of the table stood two men, both obviously Generals. You immediately recognize General Clayton Abernathy or Hawk, the commanding officer of the entire G.I. Joe team. The man next to him stood 2 or 3 inches shorter than Hawk with salt and pepper colored hair and mustache. The two men continued to talk quietly amongst themselves as the room slowly began to fill.

Dark Moderator of PbP
Torpedo: Human/Male (Soldier/Stingray)

Edward Leialoha sat thumbing through an Auto Trader magazine, he wasn’t really in the market for another project but the excessive downtime that made up an “underway” made it a necessary evil in the attempt to keep his mind occupied. One could only do so much exercise and maintenance but as a WO-4 they didn’t let him do much if any of the later, as it was handled by less senior personnel much, to his disdain.

Hearing his name on the 1MC caused little excitement for the gizzard veteran his only actions were to haphazardly toss the magazine on the desk and to make haste to the ready room as it would seem that Uncle Sam needed Torpedo once again.

Upon hitting the ready room Torpedo nods respectfully to Hawk, CO of the GI Joe team, and gives a simple greeting and takes a chair.

OOC: In the US navy you do salute officers but only when “covered”, aka you are wearing a hat. On a aircraft carrier underway people do not wear hats as they are seen as FOD, Forgiven Object Debris, as a simple gust of wind or the pure power of an intake can rip it from your head and straight into the very expensive jet engine.
