If you'll pardon the mixed metaphors running rampant through this post, anyone else have this sneaking suspicion that there might be potentially more than one good game in this design talk?
After all, choice have to be made at various points in the development, and sometimes the competition is between multiple good choices, and each choice affects which avenues are then open or closed later. Throw those "roads not taken" into a hopper with various design ideas floated in the ensuing, outside discussions, and there might be another good game or three in there somewhere.
