Of course. We must bring this information to the proper authorities, those that can act on it. The "Seventh Tower" Watch station is best able to guide us in preventing any potential tragedy.

"Good point. Be careful how you address them, though - watchmen can be picky if you adopt an 'attitude'. Be respectful."

The party proceeds on its way to the upper wards. Seventh Tower is prime real estate centrally located in the southern part of Sharn. You make your way through the city to the proper lift, 1 silver piece is enough to take you all up (mark it off please Justice, you can recoup it later out of loot).

A district noted for fine shops, Seventh Tower caters to the upper class and the security here immediately catches your attention. No less than a dozen members of the city watch are readily visible as you exit the lift. Everyone dembarking the lift is sorted into one of many crisply moving lines, registered, and asked their business for the day. You state that you are travelling together, so you are registered together as a group.

Justice, how do you respond to the clerk who asks your business in Seventh Tower?

And if anyone wants to give an identity other than their true identity please post this alias and a Bluff check.

Jezira actually goes a step further in the process, and makes sure to register her Dragonmark, since House Deneith probably has fairly good standing within the area.

Justice strides forward to speak with the clerk. We are here to give information to the local watch about a crime that we think will be perpetrated late tonight. He stands still, waiting for someone with more official authority to tell the whole story to.

Jezira's dragonmark is noted.

"So you have a tip off" the Clerk responds skeptically, "very well". He motions to a nearby guardsman to come over. "Take this group to headquarters, they claim to have information." Without further ado this guardsman leads you all a few "blocks" further into the district. "Blocks" being denoted by bridges of course.

The City Watch headquarters in Seventh Tower has a beautiful marbile facade, yet is clearly well secured with thick walls underneath and strong iron bars over the windows. It is richly decorated inside and out, just like the other buildings in the district. You are led inside with only a brief word to the guards at the door.

Inside there are a few rows of long (40 feet) benches where citizens are waiting, there must be 30 ahead of you. Some are obviouslly detainees, some are more likely here to lodge complaints. Five guards are posted in the waiting area. The other half of this room, blocked off by a low wall, has desks for clerks and officers of various sorts. There are a few exits which include two stairwells. Your guardsman escort checks you in at the desk, you are asked to wait on the benches until your name is called.

An hour passes. You watch as the pace of this place moves rather slowly. Most of the clerks appear to be doing little more than pushing papers around, leaving the room, coming back. The guardsmen, officers included, do even less. The people in line ahead of you are being called up. After initial discussion with the clerk at the front desk they are assigned to another clerk and either go out of the area all together or sit down at the clerk's desk on the other side of the half wall.

A second hour passes before the head clerk calls out "Justice!" As the party reaches the front desk the head clerk asks "So you have a tip off? What is the nature of it please?"

Justice walks forward, ready to do his civic duty. We found a note down in Khyber's Gate related to some dark plan here. We don't know the specific crime, but we know the location and that goblins known as the "Snaggle Tooth Curs", who will be acting as lookouts. Whatever will happen is set to occurr at about 1am, and the target appears to be the Royal Family. He looks expectantly at the clerk, waiting for questions or orders.

"Reeeeally" he responds with some skepticism. He turns to the junior clerk next to him "take them to inspector Giovianne" and makes some notes in his log book. The junior clerk leads you behind the dividing half-wall, up a flight of stairs, to a conference room. The junior clerk leaves you there briefly telling you to say put, and returns shortly with a short balding middle aged man who joins you at the table, pen and paper in hand.

"Wella Metta, I ama inspectora Giovianne. Werea dida you comea by thisa informationa, my friends?" he asks.
