First Post
Stonemaker growls fiercely at the golden snake. He charges to 100n50e and smite bites Jin Xing with all the power of the abyss he can muster (smite good). He provokes an AoO from the long neck or tail of Jin Xing.

Just for that, Jin will full attack after the AoO, scratching fiercely with his glowing blue claws while averting Stoney's eyes.

Round 5:
Jin smacks Stonemaker as he charges with a heavy blow across the forequarters for 12 points! (down to 150hp)

The blow nearly knocks Stonemaker off stride, but he is just too powerful in his attack to be dissuaded. His fearsome bite does not land true, but his powerful jaws still do terrible damage as dark energy flows out from him, blackening Jin's scales. (damage 13+18=31hp, down to 106 hp)

Jin counterattacks, dancing around Stonemaker it almost seems, all the while keeping his eyes averted successfully and yet still making contact with both claws, both wings, and his tail, also discharging his spells (2+6=8 hp), though Stonemaker shrugs off the negative energy effect of the spell easily. But off all of the strikes, only Jin's tail is able to leave even a bruise (best attack 12-10=2 hp). Stonemaker now has 152 hp.

OOC: Yes, the lucky Jin passed all of his 20% concealment checks and still kept from having to make a petrification save!

Round 6!

OOC: Corrected above post for DR.

Round 6:
Stonemaker almost succeeds in doing just that. His powerful jaws find and close on Jin's head, even as the Gold Dragon twists and turns very swiftly. If Jin had been even a hair slower in pulling away, the results could have been much worse. (18hp damage, natural 20 on strike, but missed confirmation by 1). Jin has 98 hp left.

Jin will respond with harder and wilder swings, still averting the eyes.

[sblock]Switch to +10 Power Attack. Maneeyac will raise his protective aura as a free action and keep concentrating on his detect thoughts until he enters the arena.[/sblock]
