I've always liked the Asperi from the MM2. Unfortunately this is 3.0 and kind of out of date for use as special mounts or companions. The asperi have some abilities that make them nice mounts and very special rewards to those who can tame them. The question I pose to you is thus:
What level adjustment would you give asperi so that they are not too quickly aquired as mounts if one was interested in doing so?
I'm thinking +2 or +3. They have good abilities but nothing horribly over powered.
What are your thoughts?
