~ Need to defang this aggressive one ~

Respen reaches into his spell component pouch as he moves 5 feet to his left, removing a smaller finger-bag of dirt he acquired from a cemetery in Dyver's, he breaks open the little bag between his fingers and casts the spell, blowing the dirt out of his hand "Gurtha y' ai tuulo' i' sapsa" toward Delliak, carefully maintaining his focus on the spell. The area becomes foggy, wet, and preternaturally cold, warmed only by a dim glow of the wall of fire burning behind it. It smells like the lingering of sour dirt and the escaping gas from the deads' farts.

OOC: Translation: "Be weak and cold as if you had died just a little more". Respen focuses the spell to center just behind Giant H7, and with the bottom southeastern corner of the spell on the 5 feet space between Delliak and the column to his left, so as to include Delliak and the 20' north of him. Kelgore's Grave Mist. Leaves all within or passing through it Fatigued (-2 to Strength & Dexterity and no run nor charge). No save. Cold damage to H7 = 6 (Rolz); Delliak = 5 ; It reaches 20 feet high, and it will linger in spot for 10 rounds (including this one)

Delliak winces in pain, as Kleborn gives him a nasty scrape!

Nelvandra's Ray Misses Its Mark!

Nelvandra moves 20 feet to the North side of the hallway, and invokes a wicked-looking spell; a bolt of electricity snakes and weaves its way between the party members, on its way to Delliak!

GM:
Nelvandra's Ranged Touch Attack (miss only on a 1): Natural 1. Miss.


Delliak manages to somehow dodge the ray, which one would attribute to pure, dumb, luck, rather than to any skill or agility; the Giant is far too clumsy, and under the effects of fatigue. The fact that Nelvandra's ray missed is the oddest of anomalies.

Nelvandra curses under her breath. The words are unintelligible, but she is clearly not pleased.

Looking about, I realize I might have given into the battle lust a bit too much and overextended. With a chuckle, I quip to the party, "Normally when one 'fights in the shade' it's due to a hail of arrows. A volley of dinnerware will make a fine tavern tale!" Not wanting to put my allies at further risk, I step to the south 1 square and focus on the prince. Baring my teeth in a savage grin, I tell Delliak, "Kimi öldürmek gerektiğini ilan ettiğim için teşekkürler!"

Revenge of the Orc Butler!

Dewydd steps up to Delliak, and lets him have it! Delliak's tough hide and exquisite armor save him from two of the blows, but the other two find his flesh, and draw his blood!

GM:
Attacks #1 and #2 hit; 22 pts. damage total.


At almost the exact moment that Dewydd attacks, the doorway across the West hallway opens; this is the doorway to the kitchen, and it is filled with Giantess Cooks, Ogre Children, and Orc Slaves, notably, one Orc who appears to be dressed like a butler!

It is readily apparent that the Orcs were preparing to bring a cart of food into the feast hall; the butler is in front, and the other Orcs are behind him. He looks as if he were about to lead them into the feast hall.

The Orc Butler, however, stops in the doorway, having seen the turmoil of the battle through the open double doors!

He shouts, "Akhwany! Fursatana lilhuriyat hi ealayna! Atabaeani alyawm nakafih min ajl Maryk! Alfawz mae alsharf, 'aw yamut mae almjd! Lihaml alsilah! Lihaml alsalah!"

As he says this, he points his index finger toward Giant #22, and invokes the wrath of Marek! A bolt of lightning springs forth from his fingertip, catching many of the giants within its path! The 2nd Dwarven prisoner, who (like the others) is hanging suspended in mid-air by her chains, cringes as the stroke of lightning passes harmlessly underneath her, giving her a little, tickling shock on the tips of her toes, but otherwise, not harming her!

Tam-Tam cringes also, but the bolt burns out a mere 15 feet before reaching him!

Tam, just as he was ready ream the ogre nearest him a brand new :):):):):):):), sees the bolt of magical lightning come at him. He can only duck where he stands, praying to Yolanda for a miracle. When he sees the magical bolt fizzle, some of the leftover energy causing his scalp to tingle and his hair rise in wild arrays, he gathers his wits and attacks the Ogre from behind.

Punching Dagger: 20(Yeah, baby!) + 12= 32 (using Roll Dice Online.

Damage: Dagger: d4+1=3
Sneak Attack bonus: 3d6: 16
Total Damage: 19 hp.

GM:
You need to confirm the crit first. I rolled for ya: (26) = Crit Confirmed.
Your punching dagger is 1d3, not 1d4.
IF Blessing = +1 Damage.
Total Damage On Crit: Punching Dagger is x3: (3d3+3) + (+3d6) = 10 + 16 = 26 pts.

Being invisible, Tam takes advantage of the clumsy Ogre's inability to maneuver effectively, and stabs him in the back of his left thigh with the Adamantine Punching Dagger! The Ogre screams in pain as the tiny weapon tears open a large gash in his skin, ripping the muscle open, drawing a large amount of blood, larger than even Tam had expected!

As Tam stabs the Ogre, he takes a step around to his right (the Ogre's left), so as not to allow the Ogre to pinpoint his exact location.

GM:
You didn't state that you moved, but I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt; Tam would, as a Halfling who is used to fighting in this manner, know better than to stay in one place.

Being encroached by and ultimately damaged by the Ogre sous chef, Lathir / Wolf launches into the smelly beast with a full on assault of his shapeshifted and enhanced faculties, clawing with his paws and biting, hoping to take the Ogre down.

Lathir Wolf MEANS BUSINESS!

Lathir Wolf has had enough of the Sous Chef's antics; standing on his hind legs, and bringing his paws down on the Ogre's exposed hide, he tears the Ogre's flesh easily with the hard, sharp toenails of his monstrously-sized Wolf form. The force of the blows knocks the Ogre down, and without hesitation, Lathir latches onto the Ogre's neck, clamping down with his powerful jaws, and rips the Ogre's throat completely out, making a bloody mess of him!

GM:
Ogre's current AC: 13.

Lathir then takes a 1-square (free) adjustment, pawing at Delliak as he does so. The massive paw connects, ripping through a small section of Delliak's chainmail, to find the Giant's flesh! Delliak screams in pain as Lathir Wolf inflicts the wound!

By taking only 1 square worth of movement, Lathir does NOT provoke an Attack of Opportunity from Delliak.
