How Long Can A Bard Sing For?

Anyway, IMHO it's perfectly sensible from a gamist perspective to just say one use of Bardic Music lasts one encounter, and once the adrenaline wears off, the music stops.

Heck, the music can keep going, it's just the effect that wears off.

"You can riff as loud as you want, guitar hero. I'm just not feeling it anymore!"

Well, we opted for a compromise. I ruled that you could sing nearly indefintely, but that the magic of the song had a limit.

Right now, each "song" per day, only lasts an hour.

There are plenty of items, both in the rules, and out, that will fix this effect.

Just ask my bard about his last encounter... silence is golden.
