I play once a week, where I’m the DM. I’d love to join another game as a player but unfortunately I haven’t found a game that fits my schedule.

I have a weekly game that meets Tuesday or Wednesday depending on the time of year. 7pm CST. This game meets regularly, we have 4 1/2 players and we don't cancel unless we are down more than 1 player. I'll run for 3 depending on the game, PF1/PF2 no, but Savage Worlds or WHFRP? I'll run with 3.

I have an intermittent Friday Night FLGS open table game that meets maybe 2x a month. This game depends entirely on if I got time to prep for it that week and how drained I am by Friday evening.

I don't get to play. There are no other regular GM's in my group. Every once in a while someone will run a one shot or something but less than 1x a year.

My schedule is a bit insane (but I consider my gaming time to be part of my job).

  • Empire of the Petal Throne (Player) - Weekly - 9 years
  • Neoclassical Geek Revival (Player) - Weekly - 8 years
  • B/X D&D (Player) - Bi-weekly - 4 years
  • B/X D&D (DM) - Bi-weekly - 3 years
  • Doomslakers (this group changes DM and game system after every adventure) - Weekly - 5 years
  • D&D5e (DM) - Weekly - 6 months
It was a lot more insane with four more games in there during peak pandemic when I was also single, so I basically spent all my time for two years gaming & drawing maps. I finished running a 4 year long Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 1e campaign (the full Enemy Within campaign cycle with a bunch of side adventures) last spring, and had a Wednesday group much like the Doomslakers group where I would run an adventure using one rules system for about two months or so, then take a one week break, then launch a new adventure with another rules system... We played Top Secret, Star Frontiers, Cyberpunk 2020, Cyberpunk Red, Those Dark Places, GOZR, Troika!, The Black Hack, and a few other games over the two years that I ran those.
