D&D 5E [IC] Creamsteak's Princes of Elemental Evil II

Bridge
A stone bridge spans the canal in a single elegant arch. Steps on each side climb up to the bridge. The bridge has a low stone balustrade, and its weathered sides are carved with images of dwarven battles. A single torch burns at the apex of the bridge.

Fountain
An ancient fountain shaped like three dancing merfolk stands in the middle of this court. The fountain is dry, and the sculpture has been badly damaged—two of the merfolk are missing their arms, and the third is missing her head. Hallways lead north, south, and east from this chamber. A glimmer of torchlight comes from the north, and another glimmer to the east.

A door to the northwest is covered with painted glyphs and images with aquatic motifs, marred by long scratches that obscure their meaning.

Carradoc is irresistibly drawn towards the painted glyphs. He crosses the bridge and approaches the door, trying to fid out what they are.

Arcana: [roll0].

First Post
Maighan narrows her eyes suspiciously at those marks. They look like damage done by claws...the claws of something big and strong as well. There are dangerous creatures in the deeps, she knows all too well.

As Carradoc crosses the bridge, her eyes are drawn to the water below, looking for shadowy shapes beneath the surface.

kubeba scratched his chin as the others moved about, not interested in the glyphs himself he decided to move up and ensure this side of the bridge was secure.

[sblock=actions] Move to BN 51 and keep lookout [/sblock]

Nothing particular sticks out in the darkness here. The glyphs look like they were once well decorated, and the damage to them looks intentional, not some accident from some beast.

OOC: Ah; I thought we were heading towards the door at BA 50. Do we want to go back? Onward to AL 50? I'm fine with either.
