OOC: Siljar casts light on Whisper's torch and asks Naeris if he can bring back his dancing lights in the room we're in. He also stops the Unseen Servant from removing more rocks until Whisper returns.

As dim as you can make the light, you sweep the room from side to side. Tables. Chests. Beds. Couches. Much of it cluttered with stuff. Some sort of runes carved into amethyst fill the center of the room.

Twitching his Fingers Naeris summons up 3 small globes of light and sends 2 of them to orbit Siljar's head. The third he sends to the mouth of the tunnel "To light her way back to us... i cannot stand being so powerless, can we widen the shaft?"

Whisper's fingers itched. So much stuff to steal... but not knowing where exactly she was or how she got there, caution won out over greed for the time being. She carefully observed the room, allowing a little more light to seep out from her cloak. She was looking for something that might help the group identify where they were and how to get out. She really wished Siljar was there, he could probably identify the items in the room. Avoiding the inlaid amethyst on the floor as she feared it was some sort of trap, she looked around the room for a book to bring back with her. Perhaps it would provide the human mage with some kind of insight into their predicament. Untying the rope, she left it at the threshold of the door, fearing it could trip something trailing behind her.

OOC: If needed:
Dexterity (Stealth) - [roll0]
Wisdom (Perception) - [roll1]

I think this is probably a very bad idea, but Whisper is going to do what Whisper does...

P.S. What is the black mass to the southeast of Whisper's current position? Some throw pillows or settee of some sort?

There are certainly a number of books along the south wall. The one sitting flat on the table is "Arcane Circles And You, a Beginner's Guide to Teleportation, Astral Projection, and Warren Navigation".

Couches and chairs around a coffee table facing a small chimney'd fireplace in the south-west corner on top of a black owlbearskin rug.

Padding over to the closest book she could see, Whisper snatched it off the table and stuck it in the crook of her arm. Memorizing the rest of the room as best as she could, she proceeded to head back to the rest of the group.

OOC: Assuming nothing comes to life (I'm looking at you, rug), she will head back to the others as quickly as she can. She'll drop the torch in the fire pit before entering the tunnel, attempting to conceal how she got in.

Popping her head through the tunnel, she's pleased to see the rest of the group didn't manage to kill themselves in the time she was away. "Hello, everyone," she rasped, "found some stuff." She relays what she found on the other side of the tunnel and flips the book she picked up to Siljar.

Koregar helps the halfling out of the tunnel, listening to what she found. "Seein' as this is the only way out we've found, we might need to make this hole bigger so a dwarf could fit through. Any chance of that ghost thingy of yours helpin' us out a little more?"

He glanced back at the pool, wondering what kind of creature could be in there, and not entirely sure he wanted to find out. Not that he was scared, he just wanted to save himself for the real fights.
