"THANKS SACHI!" And without thinking he twirled her up in a dizzying bear hug before (eventually) putting her back down, grinning into her face. "But writing? I was going to make it up as we go."

They'd LIVED through the thing, right? How hard could it be?

Jariah and Jakira focused on getting the procession moving instead of jabbering on about some performance the others were planning back at the town. They were still in the swamp and there were skeletons out there somewhere.

She made shooing motions for everyone to get moving towards the broken gate to begin the journey, "Come on, let's get moving so we can be back in Sandpoint before it gets dark."

"What about you, Warden? Are you returning home?"

Elsbeth

"Fastus, in every great adventure story there is a certain amount of creative enhancement. To those that participated, the actual events may be exciting enough but to the average citizen, they want more heroic action and less of the sneaking and scouting." she explained.

Kaodi

Hero
The elf has had about as much theatrical expression as he can handle and moves to grab his share of the treasure pile's wait and head back out into the swamp. The exertion will hopefully keep his mind off of all the frivolity.

"What about you, Warden? Are you returning home?"
"You're welcome to the Rusty Dragon if you want?" offered Fastus as if he already owned the place. "Warm food, fresh drinks and a show to remember! I'm told!"

Then he got back to the discussion with Sachiko and Elsbeth: "That's why I said 'Led by a man named Fastus'," he fired back, a bit puzzled why Sachiko and Elli were- "Are you guys saying my stories are BORING?!"

That couldn't be right... Right?

OOC: Once they're ALL ready to move out:
Since they were FINALLY ready to head out, Fastus rushed towards the up-wind side of the village and started touching stuff, grinning.

And everywhere he touched, a small flame sprung up!

OOC: Waiting till everybody is ready and then spamming Spark to burn down the village. Fastus will then get back to carrying... say one half of the red trunk?

First Post
Wireth seems to have had plenty of swamp life for the time being. He bends his back to collecting and distributing the load so they can move as quickly as possible, then hefts his double axe again to indicate his readiness.

As Fastus catches fire to the first building, however, Wireth's brow furrows.

"Do you have a way of ensuring this doesn't spread to the rest of the swamp?" Wireth asks with concern. "We've looted the village pretty thoroughly. If our options are leave the buildings intact or risk setting the swamp ablaze, I'd prefer the former to the latter."

He braced himself for Fastus' response.

"Do you have a way of ensuring this doesn't spread to the rest of the swamp?" Wireth asks with concern.
"It's a SWAMP," pointed out the other, utterly unconcerned, unruffled and unstopping. And, as the big orc seemed to need a bit more than that: "If it was THAT easy to set the swamp on fire, we'd have done it to get rid of the -uh- The green menace, right?" he reasonably pointed out.

Instead, water-logged plants as far as the eye could see!

Fwoosh! Fastus started to sing, the words seeming to meld and twist into the growing voice of the flames.
