Jariah agreed, “Thank you, Warden. An escort that far would be welcome.” While they could handle themselves well enough, they were going to be heavily burdened and they were low on spells.

She showed no concern for the burning of the village and added, “Aye, there is little to burn outside the village’s walls. We can delay a little while to ensure there is no dried grass that will cause it to spread much farther than the walls, but even so the water is going to keep it from spreading beyond.”

Once they finished razing the village without burning down the swamp she urged them to get moving back to Sandpoint.

Once he was certain the fire had been properly contained, Wireth shouldered his part of the burden and joined the trudge back to Sandpoint, thanking the Warden for his help.

After Fastus has completely razed the village the group heads back to Sandpoint with Walthus accompanying them. The trip is uneventful and they easily return to the Lost Coast Road. Traveling back north on the road toward Sandpoint. When they get to the New Fish Trail they bid farewell to Walthus and continue on to Sandpoint.

OOC: If you allow Fastus to sell the equipment he will get an additional 10% because of his local connections.

The young backsmith quickly caught back up with the group and got back to carrying... say one half of the red trunk? Nobody opposed, so he proudly took his spot as (second) main treasure carrier (with Wireth, but STILL!).

On his way out he leaned close to Elsbeth, whispering: "'It'd look better on her than on you'? Really!?" And he burst out laughing: Elli had a wicked sense of humour on her when she wanted!

Jariah bid farewell and shook the halfling’s hand at the parting. “Thank you again for your aid, Warden. Whatever debt you might have owed us, consider it paid and then some. If we come back this way, I hope you will not mind if we visit.”

Jakira put his head close to the hermit, which was around eye level to the halfling, and added, “Ya can pet me iffin ya wanna.” From the feline that was good praise.

After waving good-bye when they continued on, Jariah said, “We should probably report in first and rid ourselves of the prisoner and collect our bounties.”

“Afterwards, where shall we go first to sort through all of this looted gear? The Rusty Dragon?” she asked.
