Legend
East at the T-intersection took ORB3 sixty feet to a right-turn and south fifteen feet to a flight of stairs. The stairs led to a landing, with two open doors on either side. To the right was a kitchen, with a hobgoblin chef hacking a cleaver at a carcass while singing a hobgoblin battle-song. To the left, a large pantry with three goblin chef's assistants gathering ingredients for the meal. Forward, there were more stairs that led to a large, broken oak door. ORB3 calculated that it would be dangerous to attempt to pass the open doors to observe what lay at the top of the stairs.

OOC: But not impossible. If you want ORB3 to check the top of the stairs, you need a dc16 stealth to pass close to the ceiling (the only place there's cover from the goblins and hobgoblin). Or ORB3 can return and report.

The sound of a battle at the warehouse basement might alert those here in the kitchens, but it would take them some time to respond to it.

"We could storm the headquarters with 6 Hobgoblins on the right first. Then hold the door when reinforcements will arrive. It's a good tactical position. If we neutralise a leader, it could affect their moral.

Or we could lock their door, take care of the left side then regroup and finish the Hobgoblins."

"Sixty feet of narrow hallway seems a dangerous place to rush some dedicated archers. How about if we let the elves guard our backs while we take the other route?"

"The way is clear to the door. And whatever we do, we'll have to fight those Hobgoblins. The best thing to do is to take them out by surprise when they are isolated. No general, no host. We should seize this opportunity to end the war. "

Averiel smiled at Dandin's suggestion, "While I might regret not getting a chance to put an arrow in General Shorgg, I can hold a hallway while you get the job done. With Tarthegal and Ganalan, they would have to send an awful lot of goblins to overwhelm us. I think this can be done."

"We should all enter the room and focus fire on the General. Archers will stand at the door, ready to shoot at anything coming from that corridor. If Goblins manage to reach the stairs and we are still fighting inside, you'll shut the door to let us the time to reorganize the defense. The priority target is the General.

When Angis will put Shorgg's head on a pike, we'll shift the balance of power."

Tommi finds himself rallied by Enseth's words.

He runs his fingers through his hair, and then wipes them on the corner of his shirt. He reaches to his pockets, and takes out three pebbles.

"Ready." he says.

ORB3 reported one small issue with the plan: There was no door at the top of the stairs leading to the warehouse basement. There had been, at one point, and there were iron hinges in the wall for that purpose, but no door currently existed. It was a small thing, really, and the Shield Guardian calculated the odds of success at still high.
