The acidic spray appeared to pool in the little troughs and then it was sucked into the tubes to spray again. Zander was burned by it while pulling Sesto free, but not badly.

Auraia teleported past him into the treasure vault and grabbed the Bhaalite Idol. As she removed it from the shelf, she saw that behind it was a glowing rune that flared while she stuffed the idol in her bag. The air around her became thick with green mist. As she held her breath while choking, she saw a bejeweled scimitar hanging from a rack (amongst many other valuables) as she made herself ready to teleport away.

The ghost continued to speak to Torbin, not yet reacting to any of these antics.

OOC: Shoulda said she held her breath. She can hold her breath indefinitely. Con: [roll0]


Auraia grabs for the scimitar (with her action) and stuffs it in her pack (free interact with object) before teleporting back (with her bonus Action) to where she was moments before, slightly winded from the exertion, but otherwise fine.

The ghost turned and stared hard at Auraia. It seemed certain that she was up to something, what with her psychic bending of space. "Return anything thou hast taken to its rightful place and thou may take thine injured man."

OOC: Auraia must make a contested deception check against the Ghost's insight roll of [roll0] or he'll be on to her.

Torbin startled as Auraria pops back into existence, he looks at her for a moment, then back down the hall to see the glint of the thrown trinket still laying on the floor in the other room. "Of course... Well about that..."

Suddenly he loosed his arrow and drew another, hoping to get his shots in before the elf could react.

OOC: Just had to return 1 thing, ah well, lets quit beating around the bush then!

The elf ghost looked hard at Auraia who glanced at the sword-shaped lump in her backpack wondering how obvious it was. When she looked back at the ghost, it was clear he could tell she had taken something. He raised his hands in rage and a sword appeared from the wispy ghost-stuff swirling around him. Everything in the room began to rattle - piles of gems and coins, jars, plates, and other finery shook on the stands. Three urns lost their lids and three other elven soldier-ghosts rose from the ashes inside.

Torbin fired two arrows. Both passed through the ghost-captain: one through its billowing cloak, the other through its centre-mass. While the arrow didn't stick like it would in a solid object, the fletchings caused wisps of ghost-stuff to fly out the other side (an act which appeared to cause the creature some discomfort).

OOC: Okay, I will come back in a bit with a map and round-starter post.

Auraia shrugged and reached in her pack, pulling out the sword. “May as well get some use from it,” she said as the ghosts materialized. She sung the sword around, testing its weight before squaring off against the spirits.
