Into Khybers Gate

While Sedar can't make out what the two are saying, he does recognize one of the voices now that he is closer. He's quite sure that one of the voices belongs to your employer, Crei Ahkran. The second voice is softer and has a slight hiss.
While the area is not bright, it is still light enough to see for the sharp-eyed gnomes. There is little to hide behind here and the longer Sedar lingers, the more likely it is that someone will pass through here.

Sedar frowns as he moves on, away from the booths, as if searching for something. If he finds a way to the outhouse, he'll go there for a minute or so before returning to the table. Otherwise, he shrugs and returns immediately. When he returns, he quietly informs Johanel about his (meager) findings.

While Sedar is relaying his finds to Johanel, he suddenly spots movement from the back hallway. A tall human wrapped in a dark blue cloak has emerged and is headed towards the bar. With the hood up you have a hard time seeing his face but there can be little doubt as to his identity. He slides a few coins to the bartender. After a few quiet words he turns and heads back towards the hallway and presumably the back door.

Sedar waits for a short while, no longer than a minute, then motions to pay their tab.

ooc - I'll have an update posted sometime tonight. I had a busy weekend and my boss is back from his vacation today.

Johanel gets up after the tab is paid and heads out the front door. He moves down the street towards where Bloodtalon is hiding, then passes by his hiding place nonchalantly. A few steps farther he finds a place to loiter until Bloodtalon can find him and he can fill him in on all that has happened.

Meanwhile inside, Sedar heads back towards the rear of the tavern. When he rounds the corner he sees the rear door swing shut. He waits a few moments before slipping out the door as quietly as possible. He finds himself in a narrow alley next to the tavern. Crei is moving down the alley away from the main street.

Bloodtalon slips out of his hiding spot to meet up with Johanel. "You guys find anything? Where is Sedar?"

ooc: is there any way to slip past the gentlemen on the porch into the alley?

ooc - You could go down the street a short distance and take another side alley, or you could make a hide check to cross the street in the shadows.

ooc: I'll wait till I receive a report, if Johanel doesn't suspect that Sedar is going that way, then Bloodtalon wouldn't have a reason to try.

Sedar tries to follow their employer so that the man is almost always just in sight, maintaining a safe distance.
