Is the Redbox Rogue All Cocked Up?

I've got to agree with Lord Snow. I'm liking the red box but totally disappointed that they managed to screw up one of its essential features-- transitioning from the starter to the complete game.

I understand that it probably had to go to the printers a lot earlier than the books, but they could have at least settled on the final builds before that.

Now I'm stuck reworking the classes in the red box to make an easier transition to HoFL. For the Wizard, he's losing the two target magic missile. The Rogue is going to just get stances, the Slayer is getting Dex, not Con for the damage rider. I'm bringing in the alternate arrays and points-buy for determining stats.

Was it really so ****ing hard to make a starter that produces characters you can keep playing with the next book that comes out?
