His unifor and armor are imaculate, his armor actually sesigned to not shine, but rather appear to be a dull gray, brown and dark green. One would blend well inn a forest environment if not for his uniform. It was imaculat, each crease perfect, well starched, each emblem and award in perfect location, the gold and silver braid of highest quality. It should be. It is what he wears to all formal military occasions, and formal non-military gatherings. It was an officer's ceremonial uniform so it should be all of that. He uses a minor arcane spell to keep it in perfect condition at all times. [prestidigitation]
His weapons were all gleaming cleas, sharp and very eadly looking, the morning light gleaming brightly as he walked about the tents still being raised. He found his by asking a couple of worker, and so impressed were they of his appearence that he was saluted by them. He returned a snappy salute, though inwardly he smiled at the idea he just returned a salute to civilians.
He relieved himself of his backpack, setting it in a corner, though as part of his uniform, his weapons remained on his person. H withdrew the special scabbard and hung it on his belt to keep on his person. It was time to break his fast. He ordered what he thought was to be a light meal and what arrived was enough to feed 5 people so he politely offered to the servents to join him.
"Um, this is , uh, quite a lot of food. Have you two eaten? would you join me? call it payment for information you can give me" he says with a disarming smile. [diplomacy +4]
